JConcepts is Titanium with the introduction of the 3.5mm Fin turnbuckle sets designed specifically for style, durability, and performance. The base of the design is centered around a .143" (3.7mm) titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3.5mm thread base design which accepts the XRAY ball cups (2024 models or earlier might require slight resizing). The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the "finned" cuts that rotate about the center. The Fin turnbuckles are lightweight, and the original design brings out the glamour and quality that makes titanium one of the most sought-after exotic materials in the world. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left- and right-hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.

Several items indicate a JConcepts equipped vehicle, the Fin turnbuckles are one of those items. Often sampled by the rest of the industry, the JConcepts item is the original, featuring the revolved cuts and delicate machine work. Used by the JConcepts race team including World Champion Spencer Rivkin, ROAR National Champion Dakotah Phend, and legendary champion Ryan Maifield, the Fin turnbuckles are the choice for performance racing applications.

JConcepts turnbuckle adjustment wrench is offered separately as part # 2234. The burnt blue turnbuckles have intentional sporadic coloring ranging all around the blue spectrum. Since XRAY models 2024 and earlier use a 3mm turnbuckle, it might be necessary to drill out the ball-cup to a slightly larger bore opening. 2.8 to 3.0mm drill can be used to open up the ball-cups if needed.
