This Kentucky Agate talisman necklace is bold enough to make a statement and designed for everyday wear. Handcrafted in sterling silver and set on an 18" 3mm width sterling silver herringbone chain, it can easily be layered with our other gold necklaces for a fun mix of metals or worn on it's own for a pop of color and texture. 

Officially named Kentucky’s state rock, Kentucky Agate is only found in a few counties in the hills of rural Kentucky. It is known as one of the rarest and most prized American agates and is highly valued by collectors. It is known for its intricate banding full of red, black, orange, yellow and gray. These are truly unique, rare, and beautiful specimens! 

As part of our artists collaboration series, these were designed in partnership with Fishing Creek Jewelry exclusively for Kentucky Julep. Each stone has been mined, cut and polished by hand in southeastern Kentucky by local lapidary artist and metalsmith, Jarod Cox. 

Each piece comes packaged in an exclusive handmade block printed 100% cotton pouch with brass button. Pouch dimensions are approximately 8cm x 8cm perfect for travel.
