Enjoy the fanciful refinement of silk, without having to care for it, with this vintage rayon blouse!

This sweet and feminine shirt is reminiscent of blouses from the 1930's, however the fact that it is made of a sheer, lightweight rayon meant to resemble silk, places it more likely as a 1940's top. It has so many wonderful little details; pin-pleated ruffles that frill along the neckline, cuffs and upper button placket (à la tuxedo shirt), as well as flowery little reverse-cut clear buttons. The waistline is darted, indicating its original intention to be worn tucked into a high-waisted skirt (or pants). There are no longer any labels or maker's marks. The overall condition is excellent with some repairs along the neckline, as well as a half inch tear repaired at back left, upper sleeve, and a small fold anomaly in the right side seam. None of these are noticeable but please review photographs for full details.
