The strap-vest design maximizes breathability for comfort throughout the season, from early-season T-shirt weather to icy December days over warm layers.

Our Upland Guide Strap Vest was built for the hunter trekking miles in steep, rough country for the opportunity to put up a few coveys. A top design priority was the ability to comfortably carry a day’s supply of shells and gear–and if fortunate, a limit of birds. We started with the suspension–a wide, padded waist belt bears the fully-loaded weight on your hips, not your shoulders. The low-bulk shoulder straps will not interfere with a solid gun mount, and feature an adjustable sternum strap for stability.

When miles from the truck, you need to carry the gear to be prepared for any contingency, so this premium vest is equipped with a vast array of pockets. Inside the game bag are full-height pockets for extra layers and a hydration bladder. On the exterior are large pockets for more clothing, first-aid supplies, food, and other essentials. The shell pockets each carry more than a box of shells and are placed to the sides for fast access and unrestricted leg motion while climbing. Their interior hides zippered security pockets for phone, keys or wallet, and their exterior has open-stow pockets for small gear. Exterior cinch-top water bottle pockets are sized for 32-oz. Nalgene bottles.

The lined rear game bag has ample capacity for a limit of gamebirds and its structured base makes loading birds easy. It zips open for hassle-free cleaning and features daisy-chained webbing attachment points for strapping on extra gear. Topping off our flagship vest’s well-rounded feature set are front and rear D-rings for attaching, whistles, transmitters or other accessories.
