Cristalleries de Nancy crafted this rare French Art Deco crystal perfume bottle between 1921 and 1937. It is acid-etched on the base with “Cristal Nancy,” and both the bottle and stopper feature matching hand-engraved inscriptions, confirming them as an original set. The elegant design reflects influences from 19th-century apothecary bottles. At the same time, the unique stopper was modeled after champagne corks of the same era, a style later embraced by the French fragrance house Guerlain.

Measures approximately 3 3/4" high

While this bottle bears no Guerlain branding, the design and craftsmanship are nearly identical to those commissioned by the perfume house and produced by both Cristal Nancy and Baccarat. A faint, pleasant fragrance still lingers in the bottle, offering a subtle reminder of its past use.

This piece was originally acquired in the 1930s at a Cristal Nancy showroom in Buenos Aires. It was later brought to the United States in 1956 by the original owner’s daughter and has remained in the same family since. It is now available as a rare and timeless addition to any vintage collection or vanity display. Further provenance details are available upon request.
