Living along California’s Central Coast, Michele Hausman is inspired by the vibrant colors of the sea, the energy of the coastal waters, the golden hills, and the green forests with their giant trees. On the Cypress Trail in California’s Point Lobos State Park stands this tree, roots exposed but clinging to the steep hillside. The often strong coastal winds are made visible by the shapes of branches of these trees, reminiscent of graceful dancers.
