Larissa is a bright green butterhead type lettuce that forms part of Sakata’s lettuce range. Larissa is showing high tolerance to tip burn and is slow to bolt. This variety produces moderately closed heads, suitable for pre-packing. Larissa forms cubic-shaped shoulders which add to the visual appeal of this butterhead lettuce. Larissa is best suited for open field production in warm climatic conditions. Larissa needs 55 – 58 days to mature after transplanting seedlings.
