OERT Tracking
Trackman iO utilizes OERT tracking to combine radar and camera features that precisely track ball and select club data. The sleek design features a status light and power on/off button on the front of the launch monitor for easy access.



Mounting Optionality
Mount your Trackman iO directly to your ceilings or utilize a VESA100 drop-pole to suspend the unit from elevated ceilings. Ideally designed to meet the requirements of nearly any space requirement, the Trackman iO provides for a seamless assembly process.



Instantly Available Impact Video
Upon striking the ball, VG Range will show a 4 second Impact Video feed instantly after impact. Within Shot Analysis, users can control the replay. Target line is displayed along with club path and launch direction overlays to provide a comprehensive analysis of impact.

Carl's Place C-Series DIY Enclosure Specifications:

• Depths: Available in 5' standard depth. The enclosure frame's footprint extends ~1 ft behind the screen.
• EMT Requirements: Unless you have purchased the Pipe Framing Kit accessory, you will need to purchase 1-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) from your local hardware store to complete your frame. Please note, 1-inch EMT is the US trade name of the material, however the true outer diameter is 1.163" or 27mm.

Trackman iO Room Size Requirements:

• Room Height (measured from turf surface to ceiling surface): 8'9"-10'6".
• Room Width: No minimum requirement, defined by swing comfort. 15' recommended for dual dexterity.
  
• Tee to Impact Screen: 8'2" minimum. 10'+ recommended.
• Tee to Trackman iO (determined by iO position): 3'3" minimum. 3'5" maximum.
  

Trackman iO Tee Area Specifications:

• Surrounding Turf Surface: Must be green turf
• Surrounding Turf Minimum Dimensions: 40" x 40"
• Hitting Turf Surface: Must be green turf
• Hitting Turf Minimum Dimensions: 24"W x 16"D
• Hitting turf area must be level at calibration to avoid impacting launch angle.
• No direct sunlight or other light sources inside the hitting surface area.

Ball & Tee Requirements:

• Trackman iO supports white or yellow golf balls
• No markers are needed
• RCT balls are supported, but not currently recommended.
• Avoid big logo prints, pattern prints, matte surface, and multi-colored golf balls.
• Avoid white color BirTees. All other commonly used tees are ok.

Q: How much space do I need for the enclosure?
A: When planning your simulator space, consider several factors including buffer space around walls and ceilings, enclosure footprint, launch monitor requirements, safe golfer distance (10-12 feet from the screen), golfer height, club length, turf thickness, and any nearby furniture or doorways.

Q: What if the black enclosure material gets hit with a golf ball?
A: The black enclosure material isn’t designed to take direct hits, but if a ball bounces off the impact screen and hits the enclosure, you should not experience any issues.

Q: What pipes do I need to construct the enclosure kit frame?
A: DIY Enclosures require 1-inch EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing). You can either add a pre-cut Pipe Framing Kit for DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure to your order or source EMT locally.

Q: How long does it take to assemble the enclosure?
A: Assembly time for DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kits is about an hour, depending on size and whether you have a helper. For guidance, refer to our assembly video and manual.

Q: Where and how should I mount my projector?
A: Projector placement depends on your viewable screen dimensions and the throw ratio of your projector. Feel free to reach out to our team so we can provide you with the exact mounting location based upon the enclosure size and projector that you choose. Common mounting options include flush or drop mounts.
