This set comprises the first 55 Fordson Tractor with the first 56 model plough and was only available for a short period between late 1961 and 1963 when each component was replaced by a later tractor and later plough, the latter in blue and much simplified.

The Plough in this set would only fit on the Fordson and was accurate but quite awkward to affix. The tractor is beautifully detailed.

The plough is in very good condition with only one or two minor marks to the red paintwork but with complete and clean plastic elements. The tractor is currently missing its steering wheel and track arm and the front axle attachment has been repaired. I am looking for an original correct wheel and steering mechanism which can be fixed without having to take the model apart. In the meantime it is available as it stands and does display well as you can see in the photos. The tractor is quite rare with metal pale orange wheels.

There is also a later edition with red plastic wheels.
