‘The Snare’ Leather Hat Band is a very unusual hat band with its quirky leather barbed wire design.

The barbed wire effect is so realistic that you have to touch it just to know that it is not really barbed wire but in fact a smooth Italian leather that has been two tone dyed to look like old rusty metal that has been exposed to the elements.

The initial base of the band is a 20 mm wide beautifully soft Italian leather band which has been hand cut and folded each end over an antique brass D Ring forming fixing loops.
The loops are fixed with brass coloured rivets and are embossed with our stag head logo to add a unique finishing touch.

In addition, the barbed wire effect length of leather is fixed into place on the leather 20 mm band thus accentuating every detail.

Rounded 3mm leather lacing is passed through each of the fixing loops creating an adjustable hat band to fit any size hat.

For the final attention to detail each finished end of leather lacing has an additional small tassel of barbed wire leather which is threaded through a brass coloured Tibetan bead and joined to the leather lace.
