Did you know there are approximately 1300 pasta shapes worldwide? Inspired by Answer in Progress' captivating pasta exploration, I've embarked on a mini drawing series dedicated to these delightful shapes.
The word farelle means butterflies in Italian, and it's often referred to as bow tie pasta because of its adorable shape. Crafted by cutting fresh pasta into small rectangles and pinching the centres together, this unique form pairs beautifully with creamy sauces.
Artwork is available framed or unframed. Framed artwork takes approximately 2 weeks to process as each frame is made to order.
