This is a set of three Pebble Texture backgrounders. These were made as part of the Hide Crafters, Pro Crafters Tool Collection. This is one of the most popular matting textures used by leather carvers today. Each stamp is marked with "Hide Crafter" and "USA". They are individually numbered PA003, PA004 and PA005. They range in size from the smallest, measuring 3/32" wide, up to the largest which measures 1/2". This would be a great addition to any leather carver's collection.

This tool should not be struck with a weighted maul as this stamp is made of a lightweight metal, likely zinc, and could possibly bend or break. Using a wooden, rawhide or poly mallet is recommended to avoid damaging this particular stamp.
