German designer Sebastian Herkner’s La Che side table derives its name from the Laches, an indigenous Colombian community celebrated for their basket-weaving technique. Inspired by Herkner's visits to Colombia, the collection is a result of his interactions with local craftspeople and their traditional weaving techniques.

This side table is meticulously crafted in small workshops located in Boyacá, a region nestled in the Colombian Andes, using fibres sourced from the Fique plant.
