- Apply to wet skin on face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Massage very gently with fingertips in a circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry. Follow with moisturizer. Use 1-2 times per week. As part of a skincare routine: Microdermabrasion creates powerful exfoliation and stimulates the dermis below the surface of the skin. Use should be followed by a period of recovery and moisturization – usually overnight. Before use, cleanse with tepid water or a mild cleanser such as SC+ Sensitive Cleanser. After use, apply a gentle moisturizer such as A+E or Hydro BF Moisturizer. You can also follow with a soothing mask such as Mango Mask. The following products may also be used after MD+ Microdermabrasion Treatment: UP Ultra Peptide Serum, Tri-Effect Eye Cream. Our doctors recommend avoiding high potency vitamin C treatments and products with Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acid until the following day.
