The Sacred Kingfisher leads a solitary life for most of the year, exploring the coastal regions on its own. But during the breeding season, they seek companionship and create opportunities for new beginnings.

One of the most intriguing aspects of these magnificent birds is their fishing technique. As they dive into the water, they close their eyes, fishing blindly in pursuit of their prey. Before taking the plunge, they gracefully bob their heads, which helps them judge the depth of the water to ensure a successful catch.
