Will consider the various steps that go into the exit process and an overview of the exit process itself whether that be a third-party M&A sale or succession sale to family/employees.  Topics will include preparation, valuation, buyers, timing, and after the exit. A specific focus on the legal issues that arise prior to, during, and after a transaction. This can include (i) preparation necessary for an exit transaction, (ii) what to expect regarding documents and legal process in the sale or succession transaction, and (iii) what happens after the close (if you still own a portion of the business of have deferred purchase price payments)
