Chinese glazed stoneware pottery vases from circa 11th/12th Century, decorated in the traditional manner with floral or landscapes motifs on a cream ground. Traditionally, a transparent glaze was applied to a white engobe with simple and elegant shapes.
The name cizhou designates a type of Chinese ceramics, developed during the period of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and particularly the Northern Song, during the 11th and 12th centuries.
