Purpose

This ITT (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) pilot assembly includes thermocouples that detect flame presence and signal the gas valve to remain open, ensuring safe operation by preventing unburned gas release. The pilot system distributes gas for consistent flame patterns while maintaining proper safety controls for both Natural Gas (NG) and Liquid Propane (LP) applications. This pilot assembly works in both NG (natural gas) and LP (propane) - it comes set for NG but an LP orifice is included to convert if needed.
