Why is this kit needed?
Certain Triumph years and models are extremely difficult to properly identify which float needle is the correct fit. Triumph decided to change carburetor parts on some of their models in mid-production. These changes were not done between years but were instead done between engine numbers. Because engines are done by production rates rather than year by year, it is extremely difficult to verify which parts you actually need.
