Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto is a revival of a nearly forgotten Italian aperitivo, crafted with fragrant bergamot oranges and cedro lemons from Calabria. In the mid-nineteenth century, Italicus was known as the "drink of kings." Interestingly, this liqueur's recipe is inspired by a drink that was once so popular in Italy that King Vittorio Amedeo III banned it in the 18th century to prevent widespread drunkenness among his subjects.
A blend of Italian botanicals and bergamot creates a liqueur bursting with tonic, herbs, and bright citrus. Perfect for adding a shine to your long drinks and aperitifs!
