I did this bear painting in hopes of capturing the feeling of the Michigan dusk, that moment right after the sun sets and night falls, in the summertime. I usually spend a week up there in July and the summer nights stretch late into the evening with perfect temperate weather. Nature has always been a major inspiration in my work. This piece would be great as a pleasant reminder to get out of the house and connect with nature. This painting is mostly acrylic, with a little spray paint, and house paint.
