The quality of down used in a duvet depends on the size of the down clusters – the larger the bird, the larger the down and the higher the fill power.

Although duck down cannot be directly compared to goose down or eiderdown, large clusters from Muscovy ducks still offer excellent insulating properties. They provide a cohesive, airy filling that is both lightweight and thermally effective.

Geismars exclusively uses down from fully grown birds, as they produce the largest clusters and thus offer the optimal conditions for creating duvets of the highest quality. This summer duvet, filled with Muscovy duck down, has a fill power of 11+, ensuring exceptional insulation and a wide thermal range.
