The TRCP Series is a family of Rogowski current probes consisting of the TRCP0300, TRCP0600, and TRCP3000. Each probe is equipped with a BNC connector and works with any instrument supporting the BNC interface. The Rogowski coil design lets you connect to large connection points such as bus bars, or wrap around small connection points such as the leg of a transistor or an IC pin on a MOSFET or IGBT.

The TRCP Series probes are intended for current measurement in motor drives, inverters, power supplies, and industrial applications. Because the coil is flexible and clips around a conductor rather than requiring a break in the circuit, the probes suit both small-form-factor components and large power conductors found in these environments.

The TRCP Series comprises three Rogowski current probes — the TRCP0300, TRCP0600, and TRCP3000 — that share a common BNC-terminated, AC-only architecture but differ in frequency range, peak current handling, and coil diameter. All three connect to any instrument with a BNC interface and clip around a conductor without breaking the circuit.

The smaller-coil TRCP0300 and TRCP0600 target small-form-factor components, where a thin, flexible coil can be wrapped around a test point such as a transistor leg. The TRCP0300 covers 9 Hz to 20 MHz with 300 A peak and a 250 mA minimum current; the TRCP0600 covers 12 Hz to 30 MHz with 600 A peak and a 500 mA minimum; and the TRCP3000 covers 1 Hz to 16 MHz with 3,000 A peak and a 500 mA minimum. Coil diameter scales with the current envelope: 1.7 mm on the TRCP0300, 4.5 mm on the TRCP0600, and 8.5 mm on the TRCP3000. The smaller coils favor access to fine, small-form-factor test points, while the larger TRCP3000 coil accommodates higher overload currents and larger conductors such as bus bars. All three terminate in a BNC connector.
