This is the core module of your SVS. This module contains the control logic to switch all of your input and output modules. It is a required part for every SVS build.

Features:

• Supports up to 32 inputs (Expandable to 248 with the upcoming Expansion Modules) and 6 outputs. 
• Infrared remote receiver for recording of IR codes and manual switching using the optional infrared remote accessory.
• 3.5mm Infrared Blaster port for playback of IR codes to help load profiles and settings on your scaler automatically on a per input basis.
• SD card support for storing and editing IR codes and other configuration settings.
• USB C port for power, firmware updates and serial communication over USB to your PC.

Power Requirements:

The SVS Control Module is powered by USB C. The recommended power supply requirement is that it deliver +5v 1.5A minimum. More powerful supplies will also work but this represents the minimum specification. 

The SVS Control Module does not support the USB Power Delivery standard, so if you use a Power Delivery capable USB power supply you may encounter unexpected behavior. Most USB Power Delivery adapters will work properly, but some will throttle the power back to the minimum 750ma USB 1.0 standard, which would not be enough power for the SVS. For best results use a non Power Delivery equipped power supply.
