For the biggest days at home and abroad, the Mammoth is designed to chip in early in and knife into huge beach breaks, deep water bombies and open heavy water reefs such as Cloudbreak, Pipe and G-Land. Built beak-nosed and bevelled-railed, this board allows for maximum rail thickness with the minimal rail height. The deck is slightly concaved, allowing greater sensitivity when setting your line or in the tube.
The outline is slightly wider through the nose than standard guns to aid in stability and ease when paddling into critically large waves. The bottom features a slight single entry concave, to deep double concave from the centre of the board through the front two quads into a pronounced vee mid fin cluster of the rear quads to the tail exit. From extensive R&D in serious conditions, we’ve found this bottom allows for high speeds to be harnessed and for the board to hold in the most critical of positions. Standard as a quad fin and round pin, also available through custom as a baby swallow, this board will prepare you for whatever you’re willing to have the ocean through at you.
