Just one example is the intelligent TC special electronics system with its power-save circuit and memory function. It is controlled via a dust- and moisture-proof membrane keypad with LED temperature readout.

Intelligent energy management. TropiCool coolers are great energy savers. Once the desired temperature has been reached, they switch automatically to the “power-save” mode. In this mode, the Peltier element uses very little power. This gives rise to an insulation bridge that prevents heat from flowing into the cooling compartment.
