A very nice example of this great model from 1965. It was produced in silver, lovely dark blue, metallic lilac and pale pea green and each model can be found with either normal shaped wheels, wire wheels or cast, spoke effect wheels. The wire wheel editions are the most common, the normal wheels being particularly scarce and I have not seen the lilac or pea green versions with cast wheels.

This is in very nice condition. The windows are excellent and, rarely these days, this is a Mustang with good suspension! The interior is very nice and clean, both door panels are present and the base unmarked.

Most silver models that I have encountered have had cast wheels, being a later colour in production and I think this is the first silver with wire wheels I have had. Quite an unusual model.
