Many knitters experience hand and wrist discomfort at some point in their knitting journey. New knitters, take note! In this class, you'll learn what contributes to knitting-related discomfort and, more importantly, how to prevent it. Discover techniques that promote comfortable knitting, explore ways to reduce strain on your hands and wrists, and learn practical tips to keep you knitting happily for years to come.
About Carson Demers:
Carson is a physical therapist with over 30-years of experience and 20-years of experience in ergonomics. He’s also a lifelong knitter and general fiber fanatic. He has written the preeminent book on the ergonomics of knitting Knitting Comfortably, The Ergonomics of Handknitting, which serves as a guide to any craft or office activity. He teaches at events and yarn shops and is a frequent contributor to knitting and spinning magazines.
